McDonald's® Classroom Grants 2013-2014
Founded to encourage innovation and the pursuit of excellence in education.
The McDonald's Classroom Grants program funded by McDonald's of Colby, Hays, Russell and WaKeeney will again award $5,000 in grants to classroom teachers. Five grants of not more than $500 and ten of not more than $250 will be awarded for use during the 2013-2014 school year.
A five-member panel of business owners and educators will review grant applications. The panel will judge applications based on the degree to which they encourage learning through the application of innovative teaching methods. Applicants may be contacted during the review process if clarification of their proposal is needed. Grant awards will be announced by the end of May 2013.
